According to DEGY Entertainment, it costs $40,000+ to book David for an event! Anyone have $40,000 I can borrow?
Compared to artists such as David Cook, Jesse McCartney and Sean Kingston, for example, David's booking fee is pretty impressive!
It will be interesting to see how this changes over the next year!

oh wow... seriously... $40K??? that really is impressive.
Maybe we should pool our resources and sell some stuff (clothes, jewelry, Coach purses (Wanda) and everything not nailed down at home). Ya think we could raise $40,000 together? lol

Sheila, if we could raise the money and have a private concert, wouldn't that be the best day ever? Of course, the next day our families would have us committed but it would be a blast while it lasted and we could share it with our e-family here.

hmmm....i guess that PLUS sign means ALOT more than 40k b/c i got a response from the talent agency that manages his private engagements and this is the response i got.
"David is currently asking $150,000 for all private dates."

i inquired around springtime of this year. i don't remember if you were in chat when we were actually talking about how many people it would take to make it happen and when i got that response it became a non discussion...LOL! i just emailed that same person to get an explanation on why such a huge discrepancy. i can let you know when i hear back from him if you'd like!

lmao MC! you're welcome to come visit anytime! the deck thing was a joke (kinda) Wanda...lol! i have had parties where i can fit maybe 60 people but too small unless he wants to sing down on the beach...ha! they have concerts down there where they set up a stage and then you can have LOTS of people. i talked to my hubby who produces shows and if he did get hired to do a private show, he said that fee is just for him to show up, does not include anything else...o_O. that's when i said OK, i'm over the idea...:-P i will let you know if i hear back from mr. freeman!

$150,000!!!! Gosh, I don't think we could collect that much even if Wanda sold all of her Coach purses. I know he's worth every penny and more. Maybe we all better start buying one lottery ticket each time they have a drawing. That might be the only way we can raise enough for a private concert, lol.
